Start with how you actually live
Before you fall in love with a photo, think about your daily routine. Do you cook big meals and want an island kitchen that opens to the living room? Do you work from home and need a quiet room with a door? Do guests stay over often? Matching the plan to your real habits matters more than square footage on paper.
Single-section or multi-section
Single-section (single-wide) homes are efficient and budget-friendly, and they live larger than you'd expect with the right layout. Multi-section (double-wide) homes give you more width, which opens the door to features like a true island kitchen, a split-bedroom plan, and a roomier primary suite. If you can, walk through both to feel the difference.
Bedrooms, baths, and the split-plan question
